Imperial Aura is my big fancy of the day with the Kim Bailey trained gelding looking really well in on his handicap mark and from visiting preview nights up and down the country his team are really confident in a big run.
This season the seven year old has raced three times finishing a nice third on debut at Chepstow which has opened him up for much improvement seeing him get off the mark at Fakenham next time out.
Since then he has ran at Cheltenham twice finishing second to a smart Nicky Henderson horse and last time out giving a career best when a notable second in a novice handicap behind Simply The Betts.
That run came over course and distance and off the back of that Imperial Aura sets the form standard in this race.
