Horse Racing Each Way Tips Today
What is an Each Way bet?
Each Way horse racing tips equate to two bets on one horse – one on it to win and one on it to place. The ‘Win’ part of the bet is on your horse to win the race, and the ‘Place’ part is on your selection to finish either first or in one of the number of places (e.g. 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc). As you’re effectively betting on two bets in a single selection, a £2 stake would be split, with £1 going on the horse to win, and £1 going on the same horse to place in the same race. If your horse wins, both the ‘Win’ and ‘Place’ parts of the bet will pay out. However, if your selection only places, you will lose the ‘Win’ part of your bet, but you’ll get paid out on the ‘Place’ part. The odds for the ‘Place’ are given as a fraction of the odds for the ‘Win’ and will be displayed to you when you place your bet. For example, if a £1 each way bet is placed on a horse priced at 20/1, and it finishes 2nd, returns will be broken down as follows:
- The £1 ‘Win’ part of the bet is lost
- The £1 ‘Place’ part of the bet is settled by dividing the price by the fraction offered before the race (typically 1/4th or 1/5th)
- 20/1 at 1/4 the odds: 20 divided by 4 = 5/1. £1 at 5/1 = £6 returns
- 20/1 at 1/5 the odds: 20 divided by 5 = 4/1. £1 at 4/1 = £5 returns
Our Each Way tips work under these rules for us to get a return. Many newcomers to betting on horse racing understandably request that our Each Way Tip system is explained, and it’s important that you learn the ins-and-outs before joining in with any of our bets.

Why is Each Way betting so popular?
Horse racing typically entertains two types of betting – Win Markets and Each Way betting – with both having their varying positives and negatives. The two different methods of betting on horses have their perks, but it’s no surprise why so many see Each Way betting as a more desirable alternative to traditional win markets. In the most basic of terms, in backing a horse to place, you’re asking for a far less specific outcome, as you’re getting behind a resulting place in the top few, rather than needing to demand a win with no room for compromise. Getting behind our Each Way Tips for Today is worth considering if you’re open to backing outsiders and are aware that in backing horses to place, your potential returns will be lower than expected. We see ourselves as being the best each way tipster for our ability to make a frequent and insightful Each Way Bet, so we’re always on hand to offer our thoughts on the best each way tips today if you’re looking to make your own. We provide plenty of opportunities to back horses to win a race outright, especially on our Nap Of The Day, and Daily Win Treble Tips Pages, but our Each Way Tips Page offers our favoured tips for nags to place, especially for the more inexperienced punter who’d rather play it safe when betting on horse racing.

Backing our Daily Each Way Tips
Alongside other regularly updated pages such as our Nap Of The Day and Daily Win Treble page, we also make sure that we create an Each Way Tip as frequently as possible, acknowledging how in demand they are for a large portion of our followers. Our Each Way Horse Racing Tips tend to be made up of one horse running at odds of 5/1 or over, which makes for a truly mouth-watering price if the horse can place successfully or go one better and win. We try to add a new tip to this page every day, so make sure to check back regularly for our next recommended EW bet.
