In the Grade Three Juvenile Hurdle at Fairyhouse on Sunday there has been a huge gamble take place already, which has seen one horse slashed from 16/1 to 4/1.
In the two mile contest the Gordon Elliott trained Zanahiyr has gone to a quarter of his original price when starting the day on Wednesday at 16/1 and now only being able to be backed as short as 4/1.
The three year old gelding has only been seen once to date for Gordon Elliott, racing over hurdles in October at Ballinrobe going on to beat a decent field of runners.
Owned by Noel and Valerie Moran, the connections have a lot of smart horses with the handler and the market suggests they have another in Zanahiyr.
The gelding was a fair runner on the flat winning on his final start at Fairyhouse in July and now heading back there could turn out to be anything.
