The superstar and unbeaten in nine races Baaeed has seen himself propelled to the the top of the Cartier Horse Of The Year Awards after a superb performance in the Group One Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood.
The four year old proved to the racing world last week he truly is the best miler in the world by smashing up a decent field of runners over a mile and his next test sees him step up to 1m2f for the Group One Juddmonte International.
He sits at the top of the Cartier awards on 128 points, with his next closes opponent being the dual Group One winner Kyprios who sits on 88 points having narrowly landed the Group One Goodwood Cup.
Baaeed also leads the older horse division with Pyledriver closing the gap slightly after his win in the King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes, but he still sits 64 points behind the Shadwell owned colt.
In the other divisions, Nashwa went to the top of the Cartier Three-Year-Old Filly category with Oaks winner Tuesday, the pair of them sitting on 76 points with Gosden's horse getting a boost off the back of her win in the Nassau Stakes.
The sprinting division has not seen much movement at all with Naval Crown still sitting at the top of the leaderboard off the back of his Platinum Jubilee win, with Alcohol Free behind him on 32 points.
Finally, Kyprios (as mentioned earlier) sits on 88 points and is well clear in the Cartier Stayer standings with Stradivarius back in second on 44 points.
