His best performance of the season came last time out when landing the Listed Newmarket Stakes over 1m2f, seeing off the smart Secret Protector by an easy five lengths, never really having to come off the bridle.

He was third favourite for the Derby, but his handler did warn that if everything wasn't right for him he would not run and that was the case.

The colt now looks to have a big chance where he is a short price off the back of what Haggas said after pulling him out of the Derby.

The three year old son of Fastnet Rock made his debut at Newcastle last term when a good second to the smart Rebel's Romance, who has since gone on to win again in pattern company.

He had one more run as a juvenile when finishing runner up again over the same course and distance behind the likeable Mithras for John & Thady Gosden.

From there he was upped up in trip for his seasonal/turf debut at Newmarket over 1m2f and hosed up by four lengths, seeing off the likeable Kemari.

That gelding has since been to Yarmouth and went on to absolutely hose up in a decent maiden, landing the event by an easy six lengths.This offers a huge boost in form for Movin Time and now it his turn to add merit to that.

Having been a smart juvenile winning a classy maiden on his second start and then stepping up to a mile to land the Group Three Autumn Stakes on soft ground.

The colt finished last season finishing a narrow second in the Group One Vertem Futurity Trophy Stakes over a mile at Doncaster on heavy ground behind rival Mac Swiney.

This season One Ruler made his seasonal debut in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket and was a decent sixth on quick ground.

He was then upped in trip last time out in the Derby at Epsom and did not stay the trip so the drop back to 10f is a big positive and the forecasted rain will also be welcome.

The son of Galileo made his debut in July 2020 finishing fourth of six in a weak maiden, but he backed that up by getting off the mark at the second time of asking when stepped up to a mile on heavy ground.

Saved for a three year old campaign he made his return at Gowran once more and like his juvenile debut looked to need the run.

He was then sent into the Group Two Dante Stakes where he tried to go from the front under Hollie Doyle and just set the race for others, still managing to finish fourth.

If raced under different tactics on Thursday he is not without a chance.

The three year old has been seen four times during his career, Twice as a juvenile starting at Salisbury when getting off the mark over a mile on good to soft ground and then he backed that up a few weeks later at Pontefract when a decent third on soft ground behind some nice types.

The colt returned this season in the Group Three Craven Stakes and finished a fair fifth on extremely quick ground behind winner Master Of The Seas who has since franked the form.

He was then sent over to Ireland for the Group One Irish 2000 Guineas and he just got slightly outclassed in heavy conditions.

He does handle softer ground and dropping back into a Group Three could be what he needs.

The only runner in the field for Joseph O'Brien is Snapraeterea who has been frequently raced during his career being seen for the 13th start on Thursday.

Seen five times this term, her best performance came three starts ago over 7f at Naas when landing a Listed event, but since then has been stepped up in trip and looked average.

Needs a big career best to enter the frame, but the booking of Frankie Dettori is very interesting.

The three year old son of Zoffany was seen five times as a juvenile, placing on debut and then winning three decent events, including a Listed event on his final two year old start.

Pythagoras returned for his seasonal debut at Epsom in the same race as Uncle Bryn and finished a narrow fourth behind the Gosden horse.

Last time out he was seen finishing sixth of 10 in the Group Two Dante Stakes and on the basis of that form he will need to improve a fair bit.

However, the softer ground will be exactly what he is looking for.

The three year old was an $800,000 purchase as a yearling by Godolphin and made his debut in September at Kempton over seven furlongs and finished a good third behind Rich Waters and Megallan, with the latter franking the form in a good race.

The son of War Front got off the mark on his second time of asking again at Kempton over seven furlongs when going on to dominate a good field.

Being given a small break, he was given his turf debut on good ground over 9.5 furlongs at Meydan in a Conditions event and he absolutely bolted up.

He was then sent into the Listed Feilden Stakes at Newmarket where finished a good second behind stablemate Highland Avenue.

Last time out he looked to get back to winning ways over 10f at Newmarket but was outclassed by Mohaafeth and on that form he looks to have it all to do.

Notre Belle Bete for King Power Racing looks to have a fair bit to find on the face of his form, although his latest run was a step in the right direction.

The three year old made a fair debut in April when fourth behind Poetic Flare in the Listed 2000 Guineas, but since then has struggled.

He was midfield on his second start in a Listed event at The Curragh and last time out gave his best performance when stepped up to a mile at Leopardstown finishing second of 19 in a maiden.

Alhough going the right way, he steps up in trip in Group company and is still yet to win at Maiden level.

Opposable.

The big 40/1 outsider of the event is Matchless for Aidan O'Brien and this three year old has been seen four times and has struggled in all but one event.

The son of Galileo started his career off in September 2020 finishing fourth of 15 on debut and then next time out at Listowel he got off the mark.

This season he has looked out of place on both starts in the Listed 2000 Guineas Trial over 7f won by Poetic Flare and then also last time out when stepped up to 10f at The Curragh in a Group Three.

Needs a miracle on his form this term.
