Coral Racing Club Handicap Hurdle Tip (13.15 Kempton) Resplendent Grey

Has been knocking on the door this season in handicaps and threatening to go in at a decent price but hasn’t quite delivered on the promise he’s shown.

Breaking his maiden back in April, he then contested the Grade Two Persian War Novices’ Hurdle and wasn’t disgraced in 2nd behind Captain Teague. Class 2 company maybe asked a little too much of him in handicap ranks last time but he’s been shuffled down 1lbs in the weights and drops into class 3 company.

Adonis Juvenile Hurdle Tip (13.50 Kempton) Kalif Du Berlais

Made an almighty impression when making his stable debut for Paul Nicholls over course and distance and absolutely dotting up in fine fashion.

He looked to have some smart form over in France but managed to transfer that for new connections when running out a 7 length winner without being asked too many questions by Harry Cobden.

Pendil Novices' Chase Tip (14.27 Kempton) Arclight

Looks a really smart recruit to chasing and has been foot perfect in all three of her starts over the bigger obstacles this term for Nicky Henderson.

She scored on her chasing debut around Kempton despite a serious error at the last fence, but she’s been more assured over her fences since, scoring in novice company against her own sex twice. Most recently when stepped up to 2.5 miles at Wincanton getting the better of Marsh Wren.

Dovecote Novices' Hurdle Tip (15.00 Kempton) Lump Sum

Cut through soft ground in impression fashion to shed his maiden over hurdles at the first time of asking at Ffos Las. Followed that up in good style to defy a penalty and get his head in front again on bottomless ground at Wincanton.

Last seen chasing home Jeriko Du Repent in a grade two event at Doncaster, the quick ground might not have been to his liking but he certainly applied plenty of pressure to the Nicky Henderson novice.

Coral Trophy Handicap Chase Tip (15.37 Kempton) Bowtogreatness

Still may have some untapped potential as a staying chaser for Ben Pauling only trying long distance trips twice over fences so far in his career, the first of which saw him come 2nd in a strong handicap at the Grand National Festival.

Struggled on seasonal comeback and failed to complete at Newbury back in December but shaped with much more promise to be 5th in a novice event at Cheltenham when last seen.

Hever Sprint Stakes Tip (14.25 Southwell) Clarendon House

Sets a strong standard at the top of the market and has shown a strong liking for the course and distance winning a strong class 2 handicap off a big weight back in December.

Last seen contesting a grade 2 over in Meydan, he wasn’t disgraced to be 4th.

Winter Derby Stakes Tip (15.20 Southwell) Tyrrhenian Sea

With Lord North return from a mammoth lay off and this extra furlong potentially taxing his stamina too much it might be worth taking on the favourite with last year’s runner up Tyrrhenian Sea.

Second in this race last year, he’s been in fine form on the all-weather this season and was last seen scoring over 10 furlongs at Lingfield in strong fashion.

Eider Handicap Chase Tip (14.08 Newcastle) Flower Of Scotland

Sandy Thompson’s mare has been a strong staying chaser and scored in the Border’s National last season up at Kelso with a stamina laden performance before going close in the Edinburgh National.

She’s not been seen a great deal this season, looking very rusty on her comeback run last November where she looked outpaced and wasn’t jumping with much enthusiasm. That outing should have shook away some cobwebs and left her ready for this outing.
