The horse in question is the Phil McEntee trained gelding, Porfin, who has seen his opening price of 9/4 be smashed into as short as 4/5 ahead of the 15:30 today.
Porfin, a son of Belardo, marked his stable debut on Friday at Kempton on the back of a four month layoff, travelling up well before getting within a length of the winner over todays 6f trip, finishing runner-up.
He's entitled to come on plenty for that run, is turned out quickly just five days later in order to maintain those levels of performance, and is given a further boost by the employment of the in-form Hollie Doyle in the saddle.
This affair rates a great opportunity to finally get this 3-year-olds head in front.
