Young Getaway is the runner from the Nicky Richards yard in the 14:25 at Newcastle today.

The six-year-old is lightly raced and has made just four starts under rules. Has looked consistent on two attempts over hurdles to this point, and shaped as if a step up in trip would suit when finishing a decent third over two miles at Kelso at the start of last month. Likely to be thereabouts.

Wainright is a runner from the Nicky Richards yard in the finale at Newcastle today.

Conor Rabbitt is booked to take the ride on the seven-year-old, who is winless under rules. He was last seen finishing seventh of 18 over two miles and four at Ayr last month.

That was a respectable reappearance after a 262-day break, and is likely to make a big step forward now up to two miles and six for the first time.
