⚫ Southwell (12:52) - Triple Charged
⚫ Southwell (13:52) - King Of York
⚫ Southwell (14:22) - High Court Judge
⚫ Southwell (14:52) - Busby
⚫ Southwell (15:22) - At Vimeiro
Karl Burke and Clifford Lee join forces with Triple Charged in the 12:52 at Southwell today.
The three-year-old was well held on his first two appearances in handicaps but looked much more competitive on his latest effort. He was fifth at Newcastle over six furlongs last month, but likely needed that return run after a 163-day break.
More should be expected today if gaining a clear passage through the race.
King Of York should hold interesting claims for the Scott Dixon yard in the 13:52 at Southwell.
The six-year-old has won twice from 29 efforts on the all-weather, with both previous wins coming over course and distance.
Was beaten by just two lengths over course and distance in November when racing off a 5lb higher mark. Should be thereabouts once again over the seven-furlong trip.
High Court Judge should be very difficult to beat for the in-form James Owen yard on Tuesday.
Hector Crouch is booked to take the ride on the five-year-old. He was a dominant winner on the Tapeta at Wolverhampton at the start of January, beating Walk The Moon by a length over a mile and four.
Returns to Southwell with leading claims. He will drop in grade today, and appears to be the one to beat on all available form lines.
Busby represents the Philip Kirby yard at Southwell on Tuesday, and Aiden Brookes takes the ride.
The ten-year-old has won eleven from 58 attempts on the all-weather, but has been running to high standards since a visor was put on in December.
Was a winner over a mile and four at Southwell in December, before being narrowly edged out by Rubellite over a mile and four at Newcastle in January. Unlikely to be that far away today.
At Vimeiro is the runner from the Jane Chapple-Hyam yard at Southwell today.
The four-year-old is yet to win in eleven starts under rules, but has produced some solid enough efforts on the all-weather.
Was last seen finishing fourth of eight over a mile and four at Wolverhampton at the end of December. Has dropped considerably in the weights, and he should be suited by the step up in trip today.
