The first of our horses to follow from Hanover today sees us go for the Andreas Wohler trained Majestic Colt who if running to his name should be the one to follow.
The five year old is very unexposed for his age and has a great record overall, not finishing outside the places on all three starts to date.
He is related to the great Dubawi and having finished second over slightly further at the same track last time out, he is an obvious contender for the race if handling the good ground.
The first big race of the day at Hanover is the Listed Fillies and Mares contest over a mile and the stand alone favourite Axana will be very tough to beat.
The four year old has raced six times during her career only finishing outside the top two on one occasion and going on to land four of those events.
Last season Axana put in some stand out performances landing back to back Group Three contests and also finished a close second in the German 1000 Guineas.
She drops down to a Listed event to start her season today and if fit and ready should be very tough to beat.
The final horse on the agenda for us today comes in the other Listed Fillies and Mares event and Durance looks the pick of the bunch.
This four year old is another class act who is dropping back in grade and should make that count today having placed in all of her last five runs.
Last time out she finished a bold second in a Group One over in Canada and having again finished runner up in a Group Two in Germany before that she should go well in this company.
