Mares' Hurdle

The action on the opening day of the Cheltenham continues with the Mares' Hurdle. Honeysuckle was an emotional winner of the race 12 months ago. Lossiemouth is a hot favourite to win the top prize, but can any contender stop the Willie Mullins runner?

Ashroe Diamond

Patrick Mullins takes the ride on Ashroe Diamond for Willie Mullins in the Mares’ Hurdle. The seven-year-old was an impressive winner at Doncaster on her previous start, finishing over two lengths clear of Under Control.

Echoes In Rain

Brian Hughes will be aboard Echoes In Rain in the Mares’ Hurdle for trainer Willie Mullins.

Gala Marceau

Gala Marceau will be the ride of Danny Mullins in the Mares’ Hurdle for trainer Willie Mullins. She was very disappointing on her previous start, finishing 18 lengths behind Hispanic Moon over two miles and four.

Hispanic Moon

One of three runners in the race for Henry De Bromhead is Hispanic Moon, who will be the ride of Darragh O’Keefe.

Lantry Lady

Jack Kennedy takes the ride on Lantry Lady for Henry De Bromhead on Tuesday. This six-year-old will be making only her third start over hurdles, but she has won impressively on her last two starts.

Lossiemouth

Paul Townend has opted to ride Lossiemouth in the Mares’ Hurdle for trainer Willie Mullins. The five-year-old was an excellent winner of the Triumph Hurdle at the Festival last year.

Love Envoi

Jonathan Burke takes the ride on Love Envoi for trainer Harry Fry on Tuesday. The eight-year-old has plenty to find on Lossiemouth after finishing over nine lengths behind her rival at Cheltenham at the end of January.

Marie's Rock

Marie’s Rock was the shock winner of this race in 2022, but found things a little more challenging when only seventh last year.

Telmesomethinggirl

Telmesomethinggirl will be the ride of Rachael Blackmore in the Mares’ Hurdle.

Theatre Glory

James Bowen will be aboard Theatre Glory for trainer Nicky Henderson on Tuesday. The seven-year-old has plenty to find on ratings, and has been below her best throughout the season.

You Wear It Well

Jamie Snowden-trained You Wear It Well will be the ride of Gavin Sheehan on Tuesday. The seven-year-old was last seen finishing third of five at Haydock, while she was also a length behind Marie’s Rock at Doncaster in January.
