Won at this course last year when successful in the Chester Vase and should come on plenty for his seasonal reappearance.

Back to 1m 5f which is the distance he last won at so that has to be a major positive for a yard who are also in very decent form.

Should be tough to beat and looks like going one better than market rival Point Lonsdale.

Had a cracking season last year winning four times over the 5 furlong trip and has won at Chester before so it's good to know he can handle this tricky track.

Has won on good ground before as well so no concerns here and he should be bang there after a couple of below par efforts of late that you can put a line through.

His Sire Ardad also has an impressive 43% strike rate with progeny who run at this course so it's certainly a massive plus that he returns to Chester today.

Taking a chance on the outsider here doesn't look a bad idea as he makes appeal at a huge price.

Showed promise at the start of his career for old trainer Ralph Beckett and current trainer Ian Williams.

Hasn't quite carried on improving but there's hope a switch to turf and adding first-time cheekpieces may well get him going again.

Trainer has a solid record with his horses running in first-time cheekpieces and Trojan Storm's Sire Ulysses boasts an even more impressive strike rate of 23.53% when it comes to progeny in first-time cheekpieces.

Yard are also in good form at the moment having a couple of winners and a few places from just 13 horses in past two weeks.
