One Horse, Jockey And Trainer From Newmarket For Thursday

Horse To Follow - Magic J

Our horse to follow tomorrow from Newmarket comes near the back end of the card in the Class 4 Handicap over six furlongs and the Ed Vaughn trained Magic J looks very hard to beat.

The four year old colt is very unexposed for his age only racing four times during his career and during that time has scored once and placed once.

In October, after a good third at Newcastle, he made his handicap debut at Southwell and finished a decent third and now with plenty of scope to improve, a superb pedigree out of Scat Daddy and Oisin Murphy booked to ride he looks one to watch.

Trainer To Follow - Charlie Appleby

The trainer to watch out for tomorrow on the Rowley Mile is leading Newmarket based handler Charlie Appleby who fields a bunch of his new two year olds for the first time.

From the horses he has entered three of them are short priced favourites and the other is the second favourite with all of them having superb pedigree's.

They all cost a lot of money and he will be hoping they can live up to their names and with releasing them at Newmarket it puts them in good stead with Appleby having a 26.42% strike rate for the last 12 months.

Jockey To Follow - Ryan Moore

Finally the rider we believe may pay to follow is Ryan Moore who as ever has made a decent start to the season already sitting on some big talents.

From his four rides to date, Moore has won one of them currently running at a 25% strike rate which as ever is consistent for him.

He links up with multiple trainers on Thursday in which he has decent combination records with and having won some of the biggest races possible at Newmarket he is very comfortable at the track.
