Cicero's Gift - St James's Palace Stakes - 9/2

The three year old was first seen as a juvenile when winning by close to three lengths at Newbury over a mile on soft ground seeing off the well bred Rajashtan.

Put away for his three year old campaign this term, he returned at Wolverhampton under a penalty when again showing a great attitude over 8.5f to beat the Harry Eustace trained Docklands.

Last seen back on turf at Goodwood over a mile he put up a career best effort to beat the Listed Feilden Stakes second Kolsai by close to six lengths.

Constantly progressing and assured to stay the stiff mile at Royal Ascot, his trainer has targeted him at this race all season and although untried in Group One company, he looks the type to step up to to the test.

Highfield Princess - King's Stand Stakes - 10/3

The six year old has been a superstar for her connections throughout the last few years starting off by winning a handicap off a mark of 58 and she is now rated 119.

Last season she took her form in the sprinting division to a new level winning the Group Two Duke Of York Clipper Stakes and then heading to Royal Ascot and finishing a credible sixth of 24 in the Platinum Jubilee Stakes.

Off the back of that run she went on to win a hat-trick of Group One races, firstly in France when taking the Prix Maurice De Gheest on good to soft ground and then in August on much quicker ground went on to bolt up in the Nunthorpe Stakes off top weight.

Her final win of the season came at the Curragh when again bolting up in the Flying Five Stakes and that set up a trip to America for the Breeders' Cup.

Finishing off her season at Keeneland in the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint she was a very good fourth behind the likes of Caravel, Emaraaty Ana and Creative Force.

Returning this season as a six year old trainer John Quinn was unsure if she will train on at her age, but she put up a superb performance in the Group Two Duke Of York Clipper Stakes to finish 1/2 a length second to Azure Blue giving her 5lb.

Set up perfectly for Royal Ascot she looks the one to beat.

Laurel - Duke Of Cambridge Stakes - 5/1

Set to be a star in the making for a yard that have had some superb types for owners Juddmonte, the daughter of Kingman has been seen five times to date and has shown plenty of talent on all of those runs.

Making her debut in July at flat racing HQ on the July Course, she took on some more proven types in a Novice Stakes over a mile and went on to win by three lengths going away.

Having had a little break she returned at Kempton on the all weather over a mile once more and she was just as a convincing winner as she was on debut.

That run set her perfectly for the Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket and when looking like the most likely winner a furlong out she was just beaten close home by the Kevin Ryan trained Fonteyn.

Returning this season as a four year old she made a pleasing seasonal debut when winning a Listed Fillies' Stakes comfortably at Kempton and she then set her sights on the Group One Lockinge Stakes.

Well backed ahead of the event she unfortunately ran no race but currently 5/1 for this event with favourite Insprial heading to the Group One Queen Anne Stakes, she will shorter on the day and can bounce back to form.

Jabaara - Albany Stakes - 4/1

The final selection comes in the Group Three Albany Stakes with Jabaara for Roger Varian having the potential to be very smart.

A horse that has been seen just once to date when bolting up on good ground at Newmarket in a Fillies' Novice Stakes, the third horse La Guarida has since come out and won a smart event and the quicker the ground the better she will be.

Visually she was very impressive on debut and with more to come off the back of that run she could turn out to be anything and this race was labelled as her next step after that victory.
