Aidan O'Brien has a very good record in the Group One Dewhurst Stakes having won the race six times in his career and today we are looking back at his 2016 victor Churchill.
The son of Galileo on his day was unstoppable being a frequent winner as a juvenile and then converting that to being a nice three year old that went on to and race like the 2000 Guineas and the Irish 2000 Guineas.
Before the Dewhurst win, he had landed four straight races in a row including the Vincent O'Brien National Stakes which has been won in the past by some outstanding talents.
The superstar is now at stud where his offspring will go on to compete mostly over the mile trip, trying to replicate their fathers work in races like this and the Guineas.
