Throwback Thursday Race - 03/12/20

Defi Du Seuil

The TIngle Creek Chase on Saturday will certainly give us a clearer picture as to who is the best two mile chaser around this season after last year's winner went on to pretty much dominate after landing the event.

Although losing at the 2020 Cheltenham festival the JP McManus owned gelding landed the three high profile two mile races before that in the Shloer Chase, Tingle Creek Chase and the Clarence House Chase at Ascot.

The two mile division over the years has been dominated by one horse, but with Altior now 10 years old it looks to be as open as it ever has.

Defi Du Seuil is a horse with bundles and bundles of ability but has not performed to his usual standard in his last two races and he will be hoping to get back to the level that saw him land this event.
