Trainer To Follow - William Haggas

William Haggas has three chances across the card at Ascot on Saturday with two in the same race and he is a trainer to follow for a winner across the day.

His first runner is Post Impressionist in the Stayers event with the gelding becoming a little frustrating but on his day and off a mark of 93 could go close.

His best chances of the day come in the Shergar Cup Challenge over 1m4f with La Yakel and Pride Of Priory both at the top of the market and both hold big shouts.

Haggas heads into the meeting sporting a strike rate of 26% for the last two weeks, managing to land 12 winners from his last 47 runners.

Jockey To Follow - Frankie Dettori

Frankie Dettori is riding in the Shergar Cup for the final year and he has managed to pick up some nice rides across the day that should see him in the winners enclosure.

His first chance of the day is the C&D winner Dream Composer who would prefer softer ground but having shown good form previously this season could bounce back to that at a double figure price.

One of his best chances of the day comes in the Stayers event with Zoffee now 1lb lower than his three lengths back in sixth in the Ascot Stakes at the Royal meeting and holds leading claims.

Another nice chance for Dettori comes in the way of Pride Of Priory in the Shergar Cup Challenge who got into the race as a reserve and off the same mark as winning the race last term he looks to have been set up for this.

He then rides for John Quinn in the Shergar Cup Mile on Empirestateofmind and then in the lucky last he rides 20/1 chance Bonny Angel for Clive Cox.
