Trainer To Follow - Andrew Balding

Lading British trainer Andrew Balding sends four runners to the Knavesmire on Friday and all of them look to have chances, with some at prices.

His first runner of the afternoon comes in the Listed Oaks Farm Stables Fillies' Stakes over a mile with Clochette a good winner last time out and underestimated in the market.

In the Knight Solicitors Handicap over 10.5f Balding fields two runners with the favourite Nobel making his handicap debut and the experienced Masekela dropping into this company having been running in better races.

Finally, in the Darley Novice Stakes over a mile the Kingsclere handler fields New Business who was a good third on debut at Newmarket and he should take another step forward in this event.

Balding is currently running at a strike rate of 18% for the last fortnight, managing to land 10 winners from his last 56 runners.

Jockey To Follow - Ryan Moore

Ryan Moore has a lovely book of rides at York on Saturday starting in the opener with the Karl Burke trained Dorothy Lawrence looking like a horse with scope to improve.

In the next event he teams up with Sir Michael Stoute aboard Stormy Sea who was an impressive winner last time out and she could build on that in the Listed Oaks Farm Stables Fillies' Stakes.

Moore then rides for Hughie Morrison on Stay Well with the horse having his first run of the season and then in the feature Group Two Yorkshire Cup he rides Dubai Gold Cup winner Broome.

The experienced rider is currently running at a strike rate of 22% for the last two weeks, managing to land eight winners from his last 37 rides.
