Who To Follow On ITV Racing on Saturday - 21/10/23

Trainer to Follow - Aidan O'Brien

Aidan O'Brien sends over some top class talent for Champion's Day and is still in the running to clinch the trainer's title from John & Thady Gosden's grasp.

An elite team of Kyprios, Jackie Oh, Paddington and Point Lonsdale could just be enough to get him over the line and snatch the title on the final day.

It would be a surprise if he didn't notch at least a winner on the card for the afternoon.

Jockey To Follow - Frankie Dettori

In what could be his farewell to English racing and his beloved Ascot, Frankie Dettori takes five strong rides at the course tomorrow and surely will be in the mood to notch a winner or two.

Kinross is looking for his second win in the Champion Sprint Stakes under Dettori and Free Wind currently heads the betting for the Fillies & Mares Stakes.

He also takes rides on Trawlerman in the Long Distance Cup, Chaldean in the QEII and King Of Steel in the Champion Stakes. With how well Frankie has always rode Ascot, we'll hopefully be seeing in him the winner's enclosure on his last visit to the course.

Horse To Follow - King Of Steel

Arrived in this season's Derby without a prep run and shocked everyone to run an absolute blinder to be 2nd to Auguste Rodin and he followed up that promise with a lethal display here in the King Edward VII stakes.

Although his form has dipped since then, he looks primed and ready to make his mark against the established horses and is big and strong enough to cut through the soft ground.

With Frankie Dettori taking over in the saddle, King Of Steel might complete his season in fine style.
