Our first selection at Naas on Sunday comes in the 6f maiden event where a chance is taken on Lucky San Jore for the in-form Jessica Harrington team.

This son of Lope De Vega has likely had issues having missed the majority of the season, but his debut effort at the Curragh in June was full of promise, and he is likely to improve on that here.

Shane Foley attempted to make the running that day and they travelled as well as any before fading which points to this drop to 6f being a positive.

He also boasts an entry in next year’s Guineas so connections must think he is a nice horse.

Next up is a typically competitive renewal of the Irish EBF Auction Series Race Final, where 16 will battle it out for the healthy 72k in prize money.

Corporal Violette has an experience disadvantage here having only raced the once, which can prove an issue in big fields for juveniles, however it is hard to get away from her fast-finishing on debut behind one of today’s rivals.

She is likely to come on for that effort and this trainer/jockey combo have had a career-best season.

Our third selection on the card at Naas is Messagings Concertata, who makes her handicap debut off an opening mark of 75.

The daughter of Ardad has finished third the last twice both behind some highly rated horses and the form of her debut fifth has worked out nicely with numerous rivals moving into Group company.

This should be run at a strong gallop which will suit and she is forecast a generous each-way price.
