“Bryony Frost gets a great tune out of Frodon, he loves Cheltenham having won there six times, and he worked beautifully at Wincanton recently with a group of mine. The fact that the ground will be good on Friday rather than attritional is a massive bonus for him. So with plenty in his favour he has an excellent chance of being placed and I wouldn't be surprised if he won.”

“Fire Attack is a talented horse, but he just hasn't been a help to himself so far over hurdles. He has raced too freely in all of his starts over them to date and it's a testament to his talent that he still nearly won a Grade 3 novice on his hurdling debut. The big field and likely strong pace should help him relax over this longer trip. He has the ability win a big one off this sort of mark, but he has to relax and do things more evenly than he has been.”

“Strong Glance had a couple of wins at Lingfield in bumpers last month and is a big price after getting into the County Hurdle, but he will be suited by the ground drying out. He'll be dropped in and ridden for luck, and hopefully he can run respectably under Aidan Coleman.”

“Conditions will suit Brassil and it wouldn't surprise at all to see him run a very big race. With the Betfair Sportsbook paying a mighty seven places, backing him each-way with them makes plenty of appeal.”
