Cheltenham Lucky 15 Tip: Expert Picks for Tuesday's Races

Already a Grade 1 winner, Romeo Coolio has improved with each start he's made this season.

His one defeat across those three starts can be forgiven; it was a slowly run race, and what he lacks in a turn of foot he more than makes up for in stamina.

Expect the Cheltenham hill to prove a tough test in what should be truly run race, which will suit our tip down to the ground.

He boasts an excellent strike rate of 4 wins from just 7 runs over fences, winning three times last season.

He put in a career best perfomrance at Newbury to take the Mandarin Chase last time out, and then has been put away with this race in mind.

His handicap mark is very fair and with more improvement expected and his favourite ground forecast he can run well at a big price.

While all the talk on Day 1 is likely to be about the short priced favourites, the 4.40pm is an extremely open race.

With the top of the market dominated by JP McManus horses, there's value in Lavender Hill Mob.

This 4 year old has plenty of racecourse experience already, having competed in Grade 2s on the Flat, where he was rated as high as 96.

He makes his handicap debut here off a reasonable mark and could have a lot more in hand than he has previously shown.

This horse has been well backed in the ante post market over the last few weeks, and it's easy to see why.

He's got excellent from over the larger obstacles, and an eye catching jockey booking with Patrick Mullins.

He seems to save his best performances for here, winning over 3m 1f in November, and his mark is a generous one based on his chasing from over the winter.
