CORBETTS CROSS is a 7-year-old chestnut gelding bred by G Murphy. He's currently trained by Emmet Mullins but has also been trained by Paul Byrne and Eugene M O'Sullivan. CORBETTS CROSS is owned by John P McManus and his bloodlines include the sire Gamut (IRE) and dam Annagh Hill Lady (IRE).

Corbetts Cross is expected to bounce back to form after falling on his previous start. He has produced some excellent displays over three miles this term, and he could be open to further progress over an extended trip.

Mystical Power is a 5-year-old bay gelding trained by the highly successful W P Mullins. He's owned by John P McManus, Mrs. John Magnier, and Mrs. S Ricci. With an exceptional pedigree, Mystical Power is the offspring of the legendary sire Galileo (IRE) and the champion racemare Annie Power (IRE).

Mystical Power will be the ride of Mark Walsh in the opening race of the Festival. The five-year-old comes to Cheltenham in excellent form after winning each of his previous starts. He was extremely stylish on his previous outing, breezing through the field to win by seven lengths from Jigoro over two miles at Punchestown.
