It looks a match between the first two in the betting for the Turners Novice hurdle and slightly edge on form has to go to Final Demand.

An impressive winner at the Dublin Racing Festival last time out he looks to have that perfect blend of speed and stamina needed for this race, with grade one form already in the books.

The New Lion looked impressive in the Challow but the form hasn’t worked out particularly well and he looks vulnerable to a better looking novice for Willie Mullins.

One that looks highly unexposed for this is Henry De Bromhead’s Beckett Rock.

Won a maiden hurdle by a wide margin before having a year off and returning with a disappointing effort. Went much better on his next outings when getting the better of current favourite Bunting off level weights at Clonmel.

Improved for an up in trip last time out and came rattling through the pack for 2nd when last seen. Looks like one that will appreciate the hot pace, big field and stiff finish. Might be better on softer ground but can come from the rear with a good effort to get in the places.
