Jus De Citron 13/2 - 12.50 Newcastle
Harry Derham is sending just one of his horses all the way up to Newcastle on Thursday to make a chasing debut.
Jus De Citron was picked up from the point to point sphere and won a novice hurdle for Derham at Doncaster in December 2024. Failed to shoulder a penalty in another novice event before looking out of his depth in a handicap hurdle at Kempton last month, finishing a well beaten 7th.
That effort will have sharpened him up for fitness and he looks the type that could do better now switched to chasing. Catches the eye making a long trip up to Newcastle to make a chasing debut.
