An informative Novices' Hurdle is due off at 12:22 at Aintree, with The Kemble Brewery set to make his third start over hurdles.

The five-year-old is highly regarded by connections, and should take all the beating for the Kim Bailey yard.

Carries a double plenty, but should have plenty in hand after winning impressively on his previous two starts, including at Ffos Las over two miles last month.

Richmond Lake is the runner from the Donald McCain yard in the 13:32 at Aintree on Saturday.

Has won four from eleven starts over the bigger obstacles, and was the winner of this handicap 12 months ago.

Has plenty of Aintree form to his name, including when fourth in the Grand Sefton on his reappearance after a 211-day break. Will relish conditions, and Brian Hughes is booked to take the ride.

Aintree's feature on Saturday is the Becher Handicap Chase, and Percussion could be an interesting outsider at a double-digit price.

The nine-year-old has a respectable record in this race, finishing third in each of the last two editions.

Made his return to action in November when finishing seventh in the Grand Sefton, but likely needed that comeback run. Shouldn't be too far away given his record in the race.
