Tim Easterby's young stable star Art Power will be stepped up to Group Three company on his next outing, having two possible entries in either England or Ireland.
The son of Dark Angel has shown himself to be a aspiring talent for the Yorkshire based yard, winning three of his four outings to date, including the Five Furlong Palace Of Holyroodhouse Handicap at Royal Ascot this year.
That performance saw him land a hat-trick of wins and put himself on the map as a sprinter to take note of and now his handler Tim Easterby will be stepping him up in class to Group Three company this weekend.
Art Power has two possible entries in the Coolmore Sioux Nation Lacken Stakes over six furlongs at Naas on Saturday and the Coral Charge over the minimum trip at Sandown on Sunday.
It would be a surprise to see him step up to six furlongs after his pacy display at the royal meeting which saw him dominate 20 runners winning by a clear distance over five.

“We’ll look at both races and decide. He’s been good, he’s come out of it really well. He’s a good horse and an exciting prospect.”
If Sandown is the destination for the three year old it will see him take on the seasoned professionals at this distance including El Astronaute, Caspian Prince and Dakota Gold.
