The Lucinda Russell-trained horse will be the ride of Derek Fox, with the six-year-old making a pleasing impression on hurdles debut last month over course and distance when narrowly touched off by the impressive Country Mile.

Has finished in the first two on four from five career starts, and is taken to land a first win over hurdles today.

Hombre De Guerra looks hard to oppose for the Nick Alexander yard on Thursday.

The seven-year-old will have Sean Quinlan aboard today, and has won once from eight career starts under rules.

Was a strong travelling second on chase debut over two miles at Carlisle. Was narrowly seen off by Caldwell Potter, and is on an attractive mark for his handicap debut today.

The seven-year-old has won three from eight starts under rules, and was a fine winner on his second attempt over fences last time out when beating Dare To Shout by over three lengths at Kelso.

There could be a lot more to come over fences, and this step up in trip should suit his chances today.

Gaillimh A Stor is the runner from the Nick Alexander yard in the finale at Ayr today.

The nine-year-old has won once from six starts over hurdles, and huge positives could be taken from his return effort when finishing third behind Young Jack over two miles and six.

That performance can be written up based on it being his first outing for 627 days, and is likely to be thereabouts now back up in trip.
