The Cheltenham festival is less than two months away and with that in mind we have picked out an ante-post selection for the Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle Final on the Thursday of the four day meeting.
Ardhill for Gordon Elliott has looked a new horse for the yard off the back of his sole run for Elliott going to Ascot over three miles and landing a very smart Handicap Hurdle.
Raised 7lb for that run in Ireland and set to go up more in the UK he has not been seen again and will need to win again and also finish in the top six in a Pertemps qualifier to get into the race.
This does make him a slightly risky bet at this stage but if all this does happen he will not be his current price of 14/1 and he is certainly worth taking a chance on, with him way ahead of his current mark.
