Cheltenham (12:35) Tip - Static

The G2 Triumph Trial kicks off the card on Saturday, with a talented crop set to go to post. Static boasts pressing claims for the in-form Olly Murphy yard, with the trainer currently striking at 32%.

Sean Bowen is booked to take the ride on the three-year-old.

He has won twice from six starts over hurdles, and was a fine second behind Liam Swagger on his UK hurdles debut at the start of the month.

Has a penalty on Saturday, but deserves plenty of credit.

STATIC @ 13/2

Cheltenham (13:10) Tip - Jimmy The Digger

Jimmy The Digger has proven to be a competitive handicapper for the Henry Daly side.

The yard is currently striking at 15%, and Archie Jones is booked to take the ride on Saturday.

He was a fine second over course and distance at the October meet, finishing just over a length behind The Newest One.

Has a win over course and distance to his name, and certainly thrives around Cheltenham. Well worth his chance once again at a doubly-digit price.

JIMMY THE DIGGER @ 10/1

Cheltenham (13:45) Tip - Lookaway

L'Eau du Sud is hard to overlook in the Arkle Trial at 13:45, but Lookaway has plenty of Cheltenham form to suggest that he could have an opportunity to upset the odds.

The seven-year-old was a winner on his chase debut at Uttoxeter, beating Personal Ambition by a length over two miles.

Showed plenty of promise over hurdles last season, winning a Grade Two novice hurdle at Cheltenham. Could still have more to offer over bigger obstacles, and likes it around Cheltenham.

LOOKAWAY @ 3/1

Cheltenham (14:20) Tip - Il Ridoto

Paul Nicholls has a number of big chances in the Paddy Power Gold Cup, but Il Ridoto could be the runner overlooked in the betting.

The seven-year-old has won twice from 20 starts over fences, and four from 25 under rules.

Made a subdued return to action at Chepstow last month, finishing 21 lengths behind Grandeur D'Ame. Likely needed that run to get up to speed for this contest.

Was a very close second in this race last year after a bold front-running display, and likely to go well again.

IL RIDOTO @ 8/1

Cheltenham (14:55) Tip - Zeeband

Paul John Gilligan could have an excellent chance to record a Cheltenham winner in the 14:55 on Saturday.

The seven-year-old gelding has won four from 16 starts over hurdles, and has shown some excellent form this year in handicap company.

Has won three times in handicaps this year, including most recently in July when getting the better of Black Bamboo.

Bounced back to form over a two miles and six at Galway last month when second behind Four Clean Aces. Well worth a go over three miles.

ZEEBAND @ 16/1

Cheltenham (15:30) Tip - Wyenot

Henry Daly has a solid chance in the 15:30 at Cheltenham on Saturday, as Wyenot looks to follow up on her bold front-running success at the October meet.

She travelled excellently over two miles and four last month, eventually beating Anna Bunina by a length.

Up in trip today, and is likely to improve further for a yard in top order.

Sam Twiston-Davies takes the ride, with the jockey striking at an 11% rate over the last two weeks.

WYENOT @ 6/1

Cheltenham (16:00) Tip - Korinthia

Willie Mullins will be chasing more success at Cheltenham in the final race on the card on Saturday. Patrick Mullins will be aboard Korithia in the Mares' Open National Hunt Flat Race.

The four-year-old has won two from two under rules, including when last seen at Limerick when beating Ambayna by just under two lengths.

Had plenty in hand on that previous outing, and looks a solid chance to complete a hat-trick on Saturday.
