The first day of Cheltenham's November meeting on Friday has been abandoned due to masses of rain falling on the track during the week seeing parts of the course waterlogged.
An inspection has now been called at 3pm tomorrow to see how the track will fair with the threat of rain set to fall all the way through Thursday evening to now see if Saturdays card will go ahead.
As for the other two days at the BetVictor Gold Cup meeting there will be an inspection held by the clerk of the course Simon Claisse to see if any racing will be able to be salvaged ahead of highly anticipated few days at jumps racing HQ.
The BetVictor Gold Cup, the highlight of the meeting, is due to be run on Saturday, with the Unibet Greatwood Hurdle and Grade Two Shloer Chase the main attractions on Sunday.
It would be a huge travesty if no racing was to take place at Cheltenham this weekend with it being one of the standout meetings before Christmas during the jumps season.
