Takemetothemoon represents the all-conquering Aidan O'Brien yard at Dundalk on Wednesday. An important week for the stable could kick off with an impressive win for the two-year-old, who will be making his second start on track.

Gavin Ryan is booked to take the ride. Interestingly, Takemetothemoon is a half-sister to Breeders' Cup Classic-chasing contender City Of Troy, meaning that she will be well found in the betting.

She made a modest introduction to life under rules, taking third behind Just Before in a seven furlong Leopardstown maiden.

She was only half a length behind the winner that day, and she is expected to finally get her nose in front on her all-weather bow today.

Gavin Ryan and Aidan O'Brien could team up for a quickfire double at Dundalk on Wednesday, with First Wave a likely winner of the seven furlong EBF Maiden at 16:15.

Stablemate Serengeti is the selection's main danger, but there was enough to like about First Wave's debut effort to suggest that he is the one to beat.

The two-year-old was an expensive yearling purchase for connections and was narrowly denied a dream debut under rules when losing by a neck to Expanded at the Curragh over seven furlongs at the start of the month.

The main danger is the fact First Wave is making his debut on the all-weather, but he could prove to have too much class for this field on Wednesday.
