Superstar filly Enable who magically won the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe for the second year in a row being the only British horse to do so when last seen has been given the go ahead by her connections to go and compete in America.
The John Gosden trained four year old looked set to be put back in the stables for the winter after her triumphant come back this season but it looks like she is going to be given one more run out before the season is up at Churchill Downs in the Breeders Cup Turf.
Enable has only raced twice this season and not many people thought it would be possible to win a consecutive Arc, from a preparation of just one run in a Group 3 on an all weather track, but this one in a million filly did just that.
The six time Group 1 winner before she was announced today she will be entered into the race, her price was 4/5 odds on favourite but now that has been slashed and her best price is 4/7 on to go and take her seventh Group 1 of her career.
Horses that are trained in Europe over the years have added to having a good record in the Breeders Cup Turf winning 14 out of the 18 renewals of this race since the turn of the century.
After this race Enable will be monitored and there will be then a decision made on whether she will carry on in training with the obvious aim to complete the hat trick in Paris, Longchamp for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.
