Malinificent is the runner from the Warren Greatrex yard in the opener at Ffos Las on Saturday.
The five-year-old is yet to win in two career attempts, but ran very creditably on rules debut at the start of December when taking third of six over hurdles at Leicester.
Stayed stronger than most on that attempt on heavy ground over a mile and seven, and could kick on with conditions in his favour today.
The Harry Derham yard is in excellent form, currently striking at a 38% rate over the last 14 days.
Jasmine Bliss holds very strong claims for the team today, with Paul O'Brien taking the ride.
She was second on her debut over hurdles, finishing just a length behind Holloway Queen over two miles and three at Lingfield. That form gives her a very solid chance to go one better today.
Handstands represents the Ben Pauling yard in the 13:15 at Ffos Las on Saturday, and Ben Jones is booked to take the ride.
The six-year-old made amends for his late fall on chase debut at Wincanton on his previous effort when jumping excellently, beating Resplendent Grey by over three lengths over three miles at Sandown.
Carries a 5lb penalty today, but clearly good enough to back up his recent win in similar company.
Korus has each-way claims in the 13:51 for the Warren Greatrex yard.
James Bowen is booked to take the ride on the five-year-old gelding. Korus is yet to win in five attempts under rules, and has been dropped 2lb for his recent defeat over two miles at Chepstow.
On that day, he finished 28 lengths behind Castefort, but the step up to two miles and four bodes well for his chances today.
Penna Rossa holds interesting claims for the Kieran Burke yard in the 14:25 today. The six-year-old will have Joe Anderson aboard.
Penna Rossa has won once from 23 attempts under rules, and was last seen finishing seventh of 15 over a mile and seven at Wincanton.
Has clear ability, but has been frustrating for connections since returning from a fine second at Wincanton over a mile and seven in November.
James Owen sends One Big Bang to Ffos Las today.
The seven-year-old gelding has won twice from 13 attempts under rules. He ran an excellent race on New Year's Day when finishing just four lengths behind Strackan at Cheltenham.
Wears head gear for the first time today, and that should sharpen up his jumping. Consistent performances make him one to note, and he should take a lot of beating.
