Blue Las could be the most interesting contender in the maiden hurdle, due off at 13:32. The Neil Mulholland yard is striking at 12% over the last two weeks, while Dylan Johnston is booked to take the ride.

The six-year-old mare was a two-time winner in bumpers last season, including over two miles at Uttoxeter on soft ground.

Was denied an opening win over hurdles last month when finishing second behind Jig's Forge. That looks like a solid form line, and she could be the most solid contender in this field now back down to two miles.

A potentially informative novices' hurdle is due off at 14:42 at Ffos Las on Thursday.

The Nigel Twiston-Davies yard has been striking at a 13% rate over the last two weeks, and Rosscahill could be the most exciting contender in the field. The five-year-old has won on each of his two career starts, which included a point-to-point success in December 2023.

Was a winner on his rules debut in mid-October, running away from the field over two miles and six to win by a four-length margin from Andy Amo. That success at the track was eye-catching, and there looks more to come.

Anthony Honeyball's runner in the penultimate race on the card today is Saladins Son.

The six-year-old made a striking impression over hurdles on his stable debut last month, beating Squiggles by over a length at Huntingdon. That was an impressive return to the track after a 236-day break.

Makes his chase debut today with interesting claims, having previously won in the point-to-point sphere in December 2022. Holds solid claims with Sam Twiston-Davies taking the ride.
