The two year old son of No Nay Never has been seen four times during his career, seeming to progress nicely on all of his starts and now dropping back in class should go close.

Armor was first seen over course and distance at Town Moor winning a four runner Maiden in nice style and off the back of that went to Royal Ascot for the Listed Windsor Castle Stakes and ran on to finish a superb fifth of 25.

She was next seen at Goodwood in the Group Three Molecomb Stakes and gave one of his best runs to date when close to a four lengths winner.

Last time out he was stepped up to Group One company over in France and good to soft ground finished a good fourth behind some very smart youngsters.

Back in class and getting quick ground makes him the one to beat.

A filly by Markaz for George Boughey, despite being beaten in a low class affair on debut.

Only coming fourth in a poor affair didn’t read as the strongest of form but she left that behind when getting off the mark at the second time of asking at Lingfield.

She took her form to the next level when winning a Group Three event at Longchamp over five furlongs. It was a smart field and she moved into group company with ease.

She gets weight from the boys and has acquitted herself at group level. A serious threat to the favourite.

Clive Cox
Age: 2

Days: 20

A very experienced two year old for Clive Cox. Taking two attempts to get off the mark he shed his maiden tag at Bath over the minimum trip.

Moving up to six furlongs for the Coventry Stakes but he only managed to come seventh in the deep renewal.

He managed to move on from that when winning a listed race over six furlongs at Newbury. He struggled to back that up at Goodwood coming last in the Richmond Stakes.

Last seen putting in a strong effort in a listed race at York, she was narrowly beaten by Attagirl. He kept on relentlessly but just failed to get to Attagirl.

Staying at five furlongs wasn’t an obvious move but he’s well worth a go at this level again.

Tight form linking with Caturra, Attagirl was last seen getting the better of Caturra in a listed race at York.

Starting off her career over six furlongs, she was beaten on debut but put experience to good use to win on her second attempt.
Moved up in grade and kept at six furlongs, she looked horribly out of her depth to be easily beaten at Ascot in a Group Three.

Dropping back down to the minimum trip nearly paid dividends when going down narrowly in a listed race at Newbury.

Going to five furlongs was the making of her and she’s come alive over this trip.

Eve Johnson Houghton
Age: 2
Weight: 9-1
OR: 103
Days: 21

A very busy juvenile this season has yielded some strong results.

A winner on his first two outings saw him quickly ascend the ranks, but he was easily seen off when dipping into listed company for the first time.

However he took a giant leap forward when easily winning the Listed Windsor Castle Stakes at Ascot on rattling fast ground.

He has struggled to hit the same heights since and has been well held in his subsequent three starts.

Eve Houghton will be hoping for a revival but his form seems to have tailed off and he’ll have to put in a career best to get competitive here.

Only campaigned at 6 furlongs so far to date, The Organiser won comfortably on his first start and looked destined for big things.

However he was well held when dipping into group company in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot coming home 12th of 17.

Again well beaten at Newmarket in a Group Two, he then dropped right back to novice company but was unable to justify a short price.

Coming second back in Class 4 company doesn’t set him up well for a run here but dropping down in distance could suit. Hard to trust.

Another Irish raider this time for Michael O’Callaghan, Up Above finally got his head in front when last seen at the fourth time of trying.

Only seen running in low grade affairs, he was struggling to adapt to life racing and wasn’t showing the necessary improvement to suggest he would win a maiden.

However, connections persisted in maiden company and dropping him down to the minimum trip yielded results when he won at Navan 13 days ago.

Now moving straight into group company looks a bold strategy as he’s got bundles to find to get involved.

Finally winning will help but he’s got to take a major step forward here.

Bryan Smart

A winner on debut over the minimum trip, Bond Chairman looked a professional sort for Bryan Smart but has struggled to win since.

Coming fifth in a Listed race at Sandown suggested that moving into deeper waters was beyond him but he outran huge odds of 66/1 to be fourth in the Windsor Castle behind Chipotle.

Last seen being well held behind Caturra, there’s been very little to suggest that moving up out of listed company will help him get truly involved.

An official rating of 94 gives him plenty to find on paper.

F Guyader
Age: 2
Weight: 9-1
OR: 99
Days: 8

A French raider coming over for Florian Guyader, Papa Don’t Preach is a seven race maiden over in native France.

Debuting straight into Listed company he needed the experience and came dead last of the six runner field.

He has since bounced between conditions races, listed races and group races but hasn’t managed to find any success so far.

Despite being dropped in grade and going off a short priced favourite for his penultimate run, he just seemed to lack the cutting edge needed to win.

Last seen posting a career best to be a close up fifth in a Group Three race over five furlongs at Longchamp behind Corazon the evidence would suggest he has too much to find on paper to reverse that form.

Korker

Days: 22

Slipping to be the outsider of the field, Korker has managed to win twice already this season.

Beaten narrowly on debut in a deep novice race at York, he only went down by a head to Project Dante. He managed to justify a short price when getting off the mark at the second time of asking at Carlisle.

He moved right up in grade to run in the Norfolk Stakes but only managed to finish midfield in the higher grade.

Moving back down to a low grade affair, he easily shouldered a penalty to record an emphatic five length success at Thirsk back in July.

Going back up in grade to a Class 2 conditions race when last seen, he struggled back up in grade again and had to settle for seventh place of 20.

A low rating and struggling to get involved in deep races already, he’s likely to be left behind.

Thunder Love

George Boughey
Age: 2
Weight: 8-12
OR: 83
Days: 20

A twice winning filly for George Boughey, Thunder Love made quite the impression when winning twice over five furlongs at Kempton earlier in the season.

Debuting back in late March, she looked a real prospect as she bounded clear to an easy 3.25 length victory.

She then easily shouldered a penalty for her debut success when beating a field of her own sex without breaking a sweat.

She was a short price and did it well so moved up into listed company at York when last seen.

The transition to a higher grade, facing the opposite sex and tackling the turf for the first time caught her out and she had to settle for fifth of nine.

With turf experience in the books she could come on for that experience but she is only rated 83 and was well held behind Attagirl on the Knavesmire.
