Huelgoat, trained by the esteemed Paul Nicholls, enters the 13:20 race at Fontwell with a fair shot at victory. While his recent form shows a mixed bag (P-2-1-F-1), his win at Stratford on August 27th demonstrates his capability. Notably, he'll be carrying a lighter weight (11-12) compared to his last race, potentially giving him an edge. His experience, coupled with the Nicholls training touch, makes him a horse to watch in this competitive race.

Puddlesinthepark, a 6-year-old gelding, has shown promising form in recent races. His most recent outing at Worcester, while not a victory, demonstrated his ability to compete at a decent level. With a solid record of two second-place finishes, the horse has the potential to challenge for the win at Fontwell.

Seamus Mullins’ Baby Sham is a 6-year-old gelding with a respectable record over hurdles. Its recent form suggests it is in good shape heading into the 15:05 PM race at Fontwell.

While its most recent outing at Stratford on 7th September resulted in a 10th-place finish, prior to that, Baby Sham had a creditable third at Salisbury over 14 furlongs in July. Notably, its fourth-placed finish at Lincoln in early July was over 16 furlongs, indicating it has stamina.

The gelding’s consistent performances and its decent record at Fontwell make it a potential contender for the 15:05 PM race. Drawn in stall 5, Baby Sham will have a good starting position. At odds of 10/1, it represents a potentially good value bet.

Greenways, trained by Dominic Ffrench Davis and ridden by Ben Ffrench Davis, enters the 16:50 race at Fontwell as a potential dark horse. While his recent form might appear inconsistent (5-0-0-6-4), a closer look reveals some promising signs. He recently finished a decent 4th at Stratford, suggesting an upward trajectory. Moreover, he'll be carrying a lighter weight (10-10) compared to some of his previous races, which could give him a competitive edge.
