The master Irish trainer Gordon Elliott surprisingly sends two runners to Hereford on Wednesday and he will be looking to land a shrewd double with his two horses.
Elliott in his career has only ever sent four runners to the English track and from those outings has superb record running at a 25% career win rate and 50% place rate.
In the first race of the day he fields Getabay who has been slightly drifting this morning in the markets but heads over to Hereford having finished third on both her hurdle starts over in Ireland.
Straight after that in the second race of the day, in the same colours, Fancy Foundations is the second favourite and unlike his stablemate has been strong in the market.
The six year old made a winning start to the season at Downpatrick in September and although carrying a penalty has a huge chance of taking the spoils.
It is very rare to see a trainer like Gordon Elliott even send runners over to Hereford, especially at a mid week meeting and we believe he has a huge chance of landing the 19/1 double.
