The son of Yeats has been in excellent form this season, winning three of his five starts, including a victory over course and distance in September. His most recent outing saw him finish second in a competitive handicap at Galway, but he was only beaten a short head and ran a creditable race. Daryl Jacob, a highly skilled jockey, will be in the saddle and his partnership with Mr Percy is a major positive. The current odds of 1/1 for Mr Percy reflect his clear superiority in the field and his consistent form. While anything can happen in racing, Mr Percy looks extremely likely to start the new season with a victory.

Mozzies Sister, a five-year-old mare, is poised to make a strong impression at Gowran Park today. With Declan Queally both in the saddle and training, she's in capable hands. Her versatility to perform well on both good and soft ground gives her an edge, making her a strong contender for the 17:20.
