Charles Byrnes has one in this year's Boyne Hurdle, in the form of the current market favourite Blazing Khal. The eight-year-old won this contest last term by three lengths to Meet And Greet, before finishing a below-par sixth in the G1 Stayers' Hurdle at Cheltenham in March.
Prior to his win here last term, he had to overcome a two-year absence from the track to resume his unbeaten record over hurdles but lost that at the Cheltenham Festival last time out.
The gelding has overcome time off the track before and has been off 11 months now but it wouldn't be a surprise to see him resume progress here and is a big player on seasonal reappearance.
