Jerome Reynier’s runner in the race this weekend is Zarakem, with Cristian Demuro taking the ride.

The four-year-old will be among the outsiders. He pushed Auguste Rodin the closest earlier in the season in the G1 Prince of Wales’s Stakes, before only finishing eleventh of 13 in the G1 Juddmonte International.

Easily beaten over a mile and two in April, but stayed on well on heavy ground at Longchamp prior to that in the G2 Prix d’Harcourt.

The five-year-old returned from a lengthy 105-day break in early September to finish second over a mile and two in Group Three company. Well beaten in the Arc last year when finishing 14th of 15 at Longchamp. Difficult to make a case for.

Has form over course and distance after beating Feed The Flame by two lengths last year. However, was subsequently well beaten by Ace Impact. Interestingly, but looks to have limitations.

The four-year-old was just a length behind City Of Troy in the G1 Coral Eclipse, before resuming winning ways with an impressive display over a mile and four in the G1 Preis von Berlin.

Clearly highly regarded, and was saved from a bid in this last year after finishing under a length behind Ace Impact in the G2 Prix Guillaume d’Ornano. Major chance.

The four-year-old has won over a mile and seven on three occasions already this season, including most recently at Longchamp when beating Harbour Wind by two lengths.

However, could have questions to answer against pacey types after finishing only sixth over a mile and four in June. Stamina test would suit.
