The six year old should be looked back on in his career as being a dual Diamond Jubilee winner at the royal meeting but having been beaten twice in a photo finish, he is one of the hard luck stories in racing.
Saying that both those were superb and especially on soft ground he has shown clear speed to be able to mix it with the best in the sport.
Last time out he landed the Group Two Hungerford Stakes over seven furlongs at Newbury, beating the field by seven lengths and if being able to reproduce that form over six again, he has to be the one to beat on current form.
