The first runner of the race is the four year old filly Cabaletta who poses the best form on offer in this race having chased home some superb runners during her career.

The grey won her debut as a juvenile back in October 2019 on heavy ground and was then saved for her three year old campaign.

Having showed some decent form at the start of last season, winning over 12f at Newbury in July, she then bumped into Enbihaar in the Group Two Lillie Langtry Stakes at Glorious Goodwood.

Over the same course and distance next time out she took on Subjectivist in the Group Three March Stakes and was again a long way second.

After that she dropped in trip for the British Champions Fillies & Mares at Ascot and was outclassed in the Group One event.

She returned this season at York in the Group Two Middleton Fillies' Stakes over 1m2f and was a fair third, looking to need further and overall the run for fitness.

Now dropped into a weaker race and back up in trip, she could be tough to beat if handling the soft ground.

La Lune

Henry Candy

The Henry Candy trained La Lune is an interesting contender if being able to back her reappearance run, with her looking to be a different horse this season.

The mare has been hit and miss during her career being tried over 10 and 12f, seeming to say this extra trip better than the 1m2f.

Having been poor towards the back end of last season, she had a break and returned at the end of April at Nottingham when winning a decent Listed event.

The conditions for this event are different and she will need to handle the softer ground, but going back up to 12f looks a positive and if coming on for her first run she looks the one that could challenge the favourite.

David Simcock

Four year old Oriental Mystique for David Simcock was a smart youngster winning on of her two events in 2019, but then as a three year old struggled.

Her best run last season came in the Group Two Prix de Malleret at ParisLongchamp when a narrow second over 1m4f on good to soft ground and getting back to that form makes her a player.

This season she has only been seen once and she was a close third of four at Goodwood in a Listed event behind the smart Alpinista.

The daughter of Kingman has much more to offer than her form has shown to date and both the trainer and jockey are in good form.

Salsada

Jedd O'Keeffe

Weight: 9-0
OR: 94

Coming towards the bigger priced runners in the field and Salsada for Jedd O'Keefe looks to be a very progressive filly, but this race looks a small fact finding mission.

The yard stepped her up to 10f for her debut run this season on soft ground at Haydock and she got off the mark in fine style, making it two wins in a row having landed an event at Newcastle over a mile in February.

She went to Ayr and landed a hat-trick of wins taking out a handicap event with a fair bit in hand, but was last seen stepped up to Listed class and finishing an average sixth of 13 runners at Doncaster.

The filly has not been seen since that run and if fresh for her first start and taking to the extra trip she looks a value player.

Needs to stay on an upward curve heading into a Group Three event.

David Elsworth

The penultimate runner in the race is the David Elsworth trained Wait For The Lord and this five year old looks to have it all to do.

Having already ran three times this season fitness is not the issue with this horse, but having underperformed in lesser events she could be up against it.

In January the mare was seen at Lingfield over 10f and was a poor fourth of sixth and was then sent back on the turf at Ripon in April and was again below par.

Looking for a revival back on the all weather she offered very little only beating one home and on the form of those three runs she looks opposable.

National Treasure

Ben Haslam
Age: 4
Weight: 9-0
OR: 78
Days: 37

The big 33/1 outsider of the event is National Treasure for Ben Haslam and this Camelot filly and her form is not good enough to win this without huge improvement.

She was seen twice in 2019, running to fair standard finishing third over 7f at Newmarket and then stepping up to a mile at Kempton and finishing fourth in a better race.

Last season she returned in June for just one run over 12f at Newmarket and was a narrow second in a four runner Maiden.

The four year old was then not seen again until this season at Beverley over 10f and she was an average third of six in a weak event.

The form of that run is not good enough to win this but her trainer will be hoping the softer ground and extra trip will bring improvement.
