Newcastle host a decent card on the all weather on Tuesday afternoon and there has been some big money come for one of the horses in the Class 6 Nursery over six furlongs.
Rohaan for trainer David Evans has undergone a massive gamble in the sprint contest being a decent price of 16/1 yesterday evening and today is as short as 9/4 with some bookmakers.
The two year old gelding is having his fourth start for the yard and does not have much form to go off having neither won or placed in any event.
This what makes the gamble extremely interesting, with the youngster stepping out of novice company for the first time and makes his handicap debut off a mark of 55.
Punters involved in the gamble obviously believe this is well below the mark he should be given and should be able to exploit it at Newcastle this afternoon.
