Handler Iain Jardine on Monday has sent four horses, three to Carlisle and one to Redcar with all of them being smashed in the market, with the four fold being a best price of 28,176/1 last night, but today can only be back at 43/1.
Jardine is not known for springing gambles but today it looks like he has four horses that all certainly have a chance and were very much overpriced in the opening markets.
The first big mover of the day is TOMILY in the 13:35 at Carlisle, being a best price of 16/1 last night and today can now be backed at a best price of 2/1.
Another huge steamer for the yard is JUMP THE GUN in the 14:35 at the northern track, with 14/1 being shown Sunday evening and now he is just odds against at a price of 11/8.
His big market Mover at Redcar comes in the 15:40 with WIGANESE being able to back at only 7/4 now having been as big as 16/1 previously.
Finally, the horse to round it all off at Carlisle comes in the 17:00 with FLOOD DEFENCE being the smallest mover but still decent having been 11/2 and is now 5/4.
The four fold is now only as big as 43/1 to back and if all go in it has well and truly been a day to forget for the bookmakers.
