Group One winning filly Inspiral will miss her engagement in the Irish 1000 Guineas like she did in the English Classic event and instead will head straight to Royal Ascot.
The Cheveley Park Stud owned juvenile is one of the most sort after horses in the fillies mile division off the back of her two year old campaign.
The daughter of Frankel on debut was seen landing a seven furlong event on good to firm at Newmarket in superb style, with the second and third in that race going on to frank the form.
She then went onto boost that form line herself next time out stepping up to Listed company and being a standout winner of the Star Stakes at Sandown.
Next time out she stepped up again into Group Two company at May Hill Stakes and took the event in style by four lengths from Prosperous Voyage, who came out this season and finished second in the 1000 Guineas.
The filly rounded off last term when taking her first Group One at Newmarket in the Fillies' Mile, again seeing off Ralph Beckett's filly.
Favourite for the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket this season she did not enter the race and then favourite for the Irish equilavent she again will not be taking up her entry.
It now looks as though she will start her three year old career off at Royal Ascot in the Coronation Stakes all being well.
(Credit ATR) Cheveley Park’s managing director Chris Richardson said: “She’s not going to Ireland. John’s recommendation is let’s go straight to Royal Ascot for the Coronation Stakes.“
Frankie had a sit on her on Saturday and just felt we needed a little bit more time, so we’ll give her that and hopefully have her cherry-ripe and spot on for the Royal meeting.”
