Originally a national hunt horse, PLATINUMCARD promised plenty on bumper debut back in October when finishing a seven lengths second however he failed to build on that in his next four NH races failing to break in to the top seven.
He was then switched to the flat earlier this month as he looked for a change in fortunes however that proved to be just as disappointing as his previous runs finishing a 16 lengths seventh of 11.
Looking at his form, you'd probably think that him finishing seventh here might not be a bad bet considering that's where he's finished on four of his six runs however with that experience in a flat race now in the bag, there's a reason why Dalgleish has sent him on the long trip down south and he could well spring a surprise and find a way into the places at mega odds here.
