The five-year-old mare has won twice from 17 efforts on the all-weather. That includes an excellent win over course and distance last week, beating Cherry King by a length.

Caught the eye on her first appearance with headgear, and could go close once again on these terms.

David Probert takes the ride on Groovy Baby for the Andrew Balding team at Kempton today.

The four-year-old filly is winless in five attempts on the all-weather, but she has been running consistently since the start of October, finishing second on her last four appearances.

The latest of those came when beaten a neck by Indalo at Newcastle. Another bold front-running display suggests that seven furlongs should suit.
