There seems to have been some big money put down ahead of some of the racing at Ayr today and we have highlighted one runner that has undergone some serious market support.
The runner in question is the Ian Duncan trained Fame Valley who has seen his original market odds of 10/1 be backed into as short as 7/2 ahead of the 15:00 race.
Its eye-catching to see such money for a runner from a smaller stable and Fame Valley appears most interesting off his opening mark of 103, particularly given he has hit RPR's of 107 and 104 in his last two outings, being a respectable 4th placed finisher in both attempts.
He didn't quite make it home over 2m 5f here last time out so the drop back down to 2 miles upon stamina testing ground looks sure to play to his strengths.
The son of Fame and Glory remains open to plenty improvement on just his fourth outing over obstacles and the talented Conor O'Farrell is retained on board.
