There seems to have been some big money put down ahead of some of the racing at Chelmsford tonight and we have highlighted one runner that has undergone some serious market support.
The horse in question is The Whipmaster for Gary Moore in the lucky last, which has seen his price cut from the 7/1 previously available to as short as 3/1 at some bookmakers.
Gary Moore doesn't send too many to Chelmsford, just 9 runners all season to be exact, so its always an interesting proposition when he has runners at the track.
The Whipmaster, a son of Mastercraftsman, won back to back class 5 handicaps over the mile upon his seasonal re-appearance in April/May and has since been competitive at a significantly higher level in class 3's over 9f/10f, twice placing 3rd in that company.
He was to lesser effect up at 12f at that level last time out finishing 8th, however we can overlook that run and expect a much better showing back down at 10f.
What is of further interest is that the runner now drops back down to a class 5, looks fairly weighted for the contest and is drawn well in stall 5.
First string jock Tom Queally is back on board and the market support is signifying a big run is to be expected here.
